Visiting Malacca - Day 2

After having breakfast dekat dengan kawasan tempat kami tinggal (Taman Merdeka, Batu Berendam), we headed to our first destination, Melaka River Cruise. A MUST-GO place.

Waiting for "our" cruise.hehe

The view along the river. You can also see Kampung Morten(1st picture) - ada Rumah Merdeka & Rumah Muzium Hidup(Living Muzium - 2nd picture)

There're also many sketches at the building along the river. Picture 4th is Jambatan Kampung Jawa (Kampung Jawa Bridge) or also known as Jambatan Hantu (Ghost Bridge). If I'm not mistaken, this is the only bridge that haven't been rebuild. Only the color that changes.

Rumah Merdeka at Kampung Morten - built without using any nails.

The Living Museum. It called that way because the owner still live in this house. So, anyone can still visit this amazing, beautiful house.

This is the owner. He will tell you more about the house.

Picture 1, tempat sanding. If you want to experience a wedding ceremony or REmarry, this is the place..hehe

My parents don't waste their chance to be in the bridal room.hehe

Listening to the explanations.

I left some notes in the Guest Book. If you come here, try to find mine..hehe

This 'Gong' was uses to make a wish. I did not really believed it but still gave it a try. Hey, why not? There's nothing to lose..hehe

Another pictures to be taken as memories.

Next place that we went was Jonker Street (Jalan Hang Jebat)

This is what we called "Gula ketuk".

My Family at Jonker Street

We had our lunch and headed to our apartment, packing our bags. Then,

Our last place is Taman Mini Malaysia ^_^

There are 13 houses. We went to all the houses except Sabah's and Sarawak's house.

Just acting *wink*

Well...this is....urmm something. Another sweet and painful memory to keep.

Tempat terakhir sebelum pulang, Jambatan Gantung.

Having dinner before headed back home. Tapi, waktu ni dah dekat area Gombak. Tak penat sangat sebab dah berdengkur - tapi bukan aku - dalam kereta masa dalam perjalanan balik..haha. Sampai rumah Mak Ndak pun dah lebih 9 malam.

Sebenarnya tak banyak tempat yang kitaorang pergi. Traffic congestion on our first day of arrival was very heavy. It's school holiday, right? So many people, so many places to go but yet, so LITTLE time. Plus, we stayed at Taman Merdeka which far from the town. Round trip from apartment to town already about an hour. DALAM bandar je, lagi la berjam-jam....Anyway, I still had a great time with my family.
